Makeup Cooler for fermentation chamber

Has anyone realized the idea of using a makeup cooler to cool a fermentation chamber made of styrofoam?

Something similar to this picture except that a makeup fridge would be used instead of a mini plain cooler.

Makeup cooler also has the possibility of heating, so it could be used for reheating in winter.
 
I see zero chance of that working.
The Peltier cooler used on such a tiny device is likely barely handling that size as it is...

There is some calculation of the efficiency of refrigeration devices given the size of the space and the required temperature difference, but I agree that in the long run it could not lower the temperature by more than a few degrees Celsius.
