So I'm in Kansas City on a road trip and figured I'd get some beers that I can't find it Texas. I'm a big fan of Boulevard Brewery and we finally started getting some of their beers in TX last year, but not their complete line. Luka's Liquor in Overland Park had a great selection overall.

I was disappointed in the lack of local beers, but I found enough other good stuff to make up for it. They had a really good selection of Colorado beers.

We also hit up the 75th Street Brewery in the Waldo District. I got the sampler. Sorry the picture sucks, I took it with my iPhone.

From right to left: Oatmeal Porter, IPA, Irish Red, Blueberry Wheat and regular Wheat. The porter and red were probably my favorites. The food was excellent. If you're in the area, I'd give it a try.

Excellent. Love the Boulevard line of products.

How was that blueberry wheat? I could never sit and drink them all night, but I enjoy a good one every once in a while.

I'm a big fan of Boulevard too. We can get the Lunar, Wheat, and Pale Ale here in town, but I really wish I could get the Porter and Stout.

The blueberry wheat was pretty good, better than I thought it would be. There wasn't an overpowering blueberry flavor like I was worried there would be. The only other blueberry beer I've tried was that Wild Blue stuff. It was way better than Wild Blue.
