Hey all. Just looking for some feedback on this recipe:

5lb Extra Light DME
2lb Light DME
8oz Cara-Pils
8oz Honey Malt
.5 oz Magnum @60
.5 oz Crystal @5
WLP 008 (East Coast Ale)

3 gal boil, then top off.

I read about adding a pound of honey 2-3 days into fermentation for the honey aroma. Any thoughts on this? Any other feedback would be appreciated.

Honey is completely fermentable, so I am not sure how much of that aroma would make it through the fermentation process. I have not brewed with honey yet, though, so I really do not know how that would work. I am interested to see what some of the more experienced brewers have to say about that idea.
