Looking for Cider Donut hard cider recipe

Hi,

I'm an experienced beer brewer. I've just started trying to make cider. I just did a mango cider that came out pretty good. Quite a few members of my family really like the Downeast Cider Donut cider

I'm thinking to back sweeten with cider, cinnamon and sugar.

Does anyone have a recipe or suggestions for a Cider Donut cider?

My suggestion would be to sweeten with frozen apple juice concentrate and also add cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg.
A good way to add spices to taste is to make tinctures with vodka and the spices. Perform bench trials by adding measured amounts of the tinctures to a measured amount of the hard cider to get the flavor profile you are looking for.
