Hi.

I have been browsing the forums for a while now and I've been looking for either a great low ABV "session" APA with nice citrus notes. Conversely I would also like to find one for a DIPA that has big malty flavor to balance nice piney hops.

I'm fairly new to home brew but every batch so far has been enjoyed by everyone

Try this one as is....

Or you can make your own "lighter ABV" hoppy beer from scratch....a simple guideline (e.g., Half pound of Crystal 40 or 60, light dme, a little cane sugar to dry it out--half a pound or less) Keep it around 1.060-1.065 and 45 IBU's--winner! Use lots of late additions and dry hop the hell out of it! Doesn't matter what hops you use--use what you like-- it will turn out amazingly good!

+1 to TriggerFingers, the All Amarillo IPA recipe is great. I've made it a few times and will be making for my next brew! Brew on!
