Happy to be a part of the group!

Have been brewing off and on for the last 8 years....and now pretty much every weekend. Will get some pics up of my Brutus (wood brew stand...and yes, wood is safe if you do it right). Very interested in DIY projects and currently focusing on - Saisons, Sours, DIPAs, and ESBs.

Currently on tap: The British Are Coming (ESB) and Happy Pappy (American Wheat).

In the primary: SMaSh with Maris Otter and Willamette

This weekend: brewing a Saison with Lavender, Lemongrass and Rye.

Looking forward to interacting with the group and sharing my knowledge.

Cheers,

Matt

For this round, I'm planning on adding it at flameout (pretty potent stuff - starting at 1-2 tbl for 5 gallons). Ideally, I would have like to create an extract so I can control the flavor a little more closely, but I'll save the for my next batch.

I found a lavender extract locally that I will use on my next batch.

Past experiments with flowers has been too variable. Let us know how it turns out.

Greetings from Phoenixville, close to your stomping grounds I imagine. PM me if you have any questions about the local homebrew scene!

Thanks guys. FirstAidBrewing - I'm a former resident of P-ville....now in West Chester!
