- 7 @ 63F
- Tasting Notes
- Big lemon aroma, slightly estery flavor, very clean finish.
Fermentables:
3# - American Pale Wheat
1# - Munich 10L
.5# - Carapils
4oz - Acidulated Malt (ph adjustment)
3# - Extra Light DME (late addition)
Mash:
Single Infusion - 60 mins @ 150
Hops -
.5 oz Liberty(4.5%) @ 30 mins
Finings/Additives:
1oz - Dried Bitter Lemon Peel @ 10mins
1oz - Crushed Coriander Seed @ 10 mins
1tsp - Irish Moss @ 10 mins
This was a quick and simple recipe that my wife simply LOVES! The IBUs seem low but coupled with the bitterness from the lemon peel it balances out nicely. I also carbed this really high at 3.4 vols. It offers a refreshing bite to the mouthfeel that supports the big citrus flavor and spiciness of the coriander. The munich I added just to give the beer a little backbone. All around winner with this one.
