maybe me, but at a glance I would have guessed pale ale.

What makes this an amber? mis-bottled?

dammit, price seemed right. never again.

ANYONE??? Is this the right beer?

All 3 bottles had this pale crap in it.

I cracked them all morbidly just to see if one of them would be amber.

Wierd.

It was in a sampler with the summer shandy, honey wheat, and orage wheat.

Very underimpressive once again.

starting to feel like charlie brown with the football.

All of Leine's beers are lagers. All of them. Even their Nut Brown (ale).

They are owned by SAB Miller.

I've never had a decent Leine's except for their Big Butt Dopplebock which is "ok".

i started to comlain after I got their winter warmer sampler, and was shocked to see that the nut brown and the creamy dark seasonal were lagers. I got shouted down by the pro lager faction when I bitched about all the beers being lagers (and might have deserved it ;))

The wheat said nothing about being lagered, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Oh well, guess I finally learned.

Nothing wrong with a good lager, I get it, but to lager a roasty dark winter warmer? Just seems wrong.
