Hey All,

I said I would share my American Brown ale recipe, turned out well

6kg Pale Malt
500g Caramunich II
300g Chocolate
20g Carafa III

15g Columbus 60 Mins

5g Belma 10 Mins
25g Admiral 10 Mins

14g EKG Flameout
14g Saaz Flameout
14g Cascade Flameout

Gervin Ale yeast

Ill post a picture up once I have it tapped and pour the first pint

Had my first pour of this last night,

It needs some time to mellow, a lot of strong flavours hit me all at once with this one, I certainly hope it mellows together nicely with some time.

Its a little overpowering with the bitter coffee flavour, also the hops have clashed with the malt.

I will revisit in a month and hopefully im singing a different tune, 19 litres of the keg could take a while to get through
