Whats the general conversion for erxtract to grain? I have a recipe from my lhbs and its an extract. Calls for 3.3 lbs of unhopped malt extract and 4 lbs of light dry extract. Its an ipa if that helps.

Cheers

It depends on efficiency, but I think the starting points are:

Liquid Extract = .75 x Base
Dry Extract = .6 x Base

So reversing this, I get about 11 pounds of 2-row.

What he said. This assume a typical conversion efficiency of 75%.
