Ok, I am working on my 5th batch of beer. Lets see what the smart folks on here say:

6.6 # Wheat LME
16oz German Wheat
8 oz Cara-Pils
12 oz Crystal 10L
2 oz Mt Hood hops (at boil)
American Hefe-Weizen Ale yeast

I steeped the grains for about 20 mins as I was bringing 1 1/2 gal of water to a boil, then sparged the grains with near boiling water. (sorry I don't have any temp, my thermoter went south on me during my last brew)

Added all the hops (in a hops bag) at the start of the boil. Then added all the LME and some irish moss at 20mins.

Cooled it at the end of the boil, added the yeast and topped up to a little over 5 gals. Got a original gravity reading of 1.041.

I am trying the raspberry extract, which I will add to the bottling bucket with the bottling sugar.
