Have there been many (any?) announcements this year for bottle releases during Toer de Geuze, aside from Mega Blend? I see Boon and Oud Beersel will have special tastings, plus the new Speling van het Lot bottles at 3F, but I don't see many announcements for new bottlings for sale.

Normally, we should have Magnums of gueuze on sale at the shop during Toer de Geuze. This is our first Magnum of gueuze, bottled last year on 19th of March 2018 (so it has already more than 1 year in the bottle). It is delicious. It will be sold in an individual box, 1 per person, at 25 EUR.

We have 2500 magnum bottles. Normally, around 500 will be sent to US later this year.

Random question, does anybody here use pitchers when drinking their lambic; whether it be for presentation or decanting purposes? I don't own any, but I always look at them. I never pull the trigger because I have a feeling they would just sit on a shelf.

I use mine when I have flat Lambic, not really for the bottled stuff

The only things I've ever used mine for are Zenne y Frontera and Foumosas.

I've used mine twice since I got it almost 3 years ago.

I mean... they do look cool sitting on shelves.

But to your point, I think they work very well for decanting bottles. While they're kinda heavy, it's much less awkward to pour than a bottle in a basket and also easier to clean than the typical wide-base wine decanter.

Also, you don't have to ask yourself if you want to store bottles vertical or horizontal because you empty the bottle in one shot.

Has anyone tried lambic suppository capsules?

Found these, might work.
