I made a dos equis amber type beer using the Frisco Lager yeast and was wondering if I need to lager it or condition at the 62 F I primaried and secondaried at. I'm going to keg it but I don't know if I should cool it now. Its been 8 days in the primary and 14 in the secondary. I was going to keg it tomorrow but wasn't sure on lagering cold or carbing at basement temps. When I bottled my steam beer I just let it condition at 63 for month. Not sure about the keg conditioning temp.

I don't have my kegerator built yet but I can carb at room temp(62F) using more CO2. I was mostly worried about the yeast having finished its job yet. Cleaning up byproducts and what not.

Thanks

Mike

Awesome, thats what I wanted to hear. I'd never lagered it in the past but just needed to be sure.

Thanks
