I intend to rack my lagers today to a carboy and lager for a month. I would then rack to kegs with gelatin and carbonate. But I thought why not rack now to the kegs, add gelatin (now), and lager for a month. I'd then carbonate those kegs. Anyone try this?

I do that exact same thing minus the jello. In addition, my dip tube is bent to keep it 1/4" off of the bottom. As long as I don't move the keg much, the sediment doesn't stir.

Enjoy!
