Lagering in a keg

I just keg it and purge with CO2 as normal, but then disconnect the gas and shove it in the back on the kegerator.
 
Before lagering you need all fermentation finished. You could pressure ferment with a spunding valve to carbonate it first. If it's fully carbed all you need is a cold place to lager it. You wont need any gas until it's ready to serve.
