Lactose addition

Hello al,

I brewed a pumpkin ale a few weeks ago. The recipe called for lactose. I forgot to put the lactose in the biol and have been fermenting two weeks without it. I am now transferring to a different carboy for the final 2 weeks fermentation. Can I still add the lactose or is it too late?

Not too late. Boil it up in some water for 10 minutes or so to sanitize and deoxygenate the water, cool it, and add it your secondary.
