Label before Brew?

Newbie here....first post.

Giving our nephew a starter kit for Christmas. Included is his choice of a first batch. We also have the ability to make our own labels, and would like to make labels for him.

Since we don't know what style he will choose and we won't know until after Christmas, what can we put on the label to make it personal and still generic enough without the style/type of beer on it? We have some artwork of the family crest...that's our starting point.

you could put your family crest on there, but have a banner below where he could put the beer style/name
