Anaheim seems to have the most suggestions, though we'll only be there August 19 and 20--looks like the best chance to hit the area suggestions is the night we land, which sucks, because I'll be pumped full of Ativan--so, I'll be pinballing around amongst the breweries; throw me a shout if you see me around that night.

Will need to prioritize to probably one bottle shop and 2-3 breweries. Is Mr. K's the preferred for takeout beers?

Would suggest good beer co in Santa Ana too if you're in the area! All Sour/wild brewery and putting out some fantastic stuff!

Nope, I was considering it. But really just taking weekend roadtrips a few times a year is enough. Already been twice this year, if I move it'll be to the PNW

I'm with you man... I probably sit down and work out an actual gameplan for a Portland relocation about once a year. I'm sure eventually I'll just pull the trigger on the actual move.

Any of you nice folks know of some good places to have an outdoor picnic/bottle share in the LA area? I read that most places on the Westside do not allow open containers in parks/beaches. Wondering if there are other areas with parks where it might be possible. It's always more fun to drink outdoors. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think there is a park in Long Beach where people don't drink

One of the great things about the parks here in Thousand Oaks is they allow drinking. Monthly park shares FTW

i mean, technically, all public parks are a no on BYOB, but the SFV and beyond just don't give a ****.... till they do.

With Green Cheek's website sans content, been looking at FB and Untappd for info--where is current taplist and are there always cans for carryout? Looks like Hollingheads is closed today, but need some hotel beers after Disney. Trying to hit BL and Noble tonight, but any last minute direction re: the nooks and crannies where I can find Disney beers today is appreciated. Thanks.

If anybody's gonna be at HPB this Friday, could you kindly GPIUFMB a 4-pack or two of Cloud Party? I'll be at HPB on Saturday, and can give you cash in advance.

Avoiding that at all costs, mostly out of protest for it not being a west coast IPA. Their haze is far inferior to their west coast.

Heading up to the Natural History Museum this weekend before making a stop at a couple breweries. Tips for lunch around Exposition Park? Langer's is tempting but I'm sure you hipsters have other, better alternatives.

I've eaten at several restaurants inside Mercado La Palolma and have always enjoyed it. That is pretty close.

Will the 108F and holiday traffic deter the haze bros at HPB today?

arren

I'm here trying to make this happen for you. Thirty people in line and it feels like a friggin furnace. I'm here to pick up my bottles. I will see if I can muster the strength to wait once the line starts moving.
