This is a picture from a three years ago. I bottled kombucha with, apparently some residual sugar. I had the bottle in the cupboard for a few weeks. When I opened it, the cap blew off, and a geyser of foam rocketed from the floor to the ceiling for about 5 seconds. If you look close, you can see where the concentric rings of foam splashed. It was a big mess! I won't be doing that again.
