So I have a bit of grain left over from recent batches that I want to throw together into a nice beer for the upcoming holidays. I was thinking of doing an "oatmeal cookie" brown ale. Here is what I put together so far...

8# Maris Otter
0.5# crystal 80
0.25# crystal 60
0.25# chocolate malt
0.13# black patent malt (just a pinch or two for color)
0.5# flaked oats (toasted in oven to get that cookie smell/taste)

60 min - 0.5# dark brown sugar
60 min - 1 cup raisons
60 min - 1oz EK Goldings
20 min - 1oz EK Goldings
10 min - 1 cinnamon stick
5 min - 1oz willamette

Thinking S-04 or notty yeast.

2 weeks primary, then 5-7 days with 2 vodka soaked vanilla beans, then bottle. I'll give her a taste when I add the vanilla and decide if it needs more cinnamon.

What do you guys think? I came up with this on a whim, and am brewing this saturday. I kinda wonder whether or not the amounts and timings of cinnamon, raisons, and brown sugar will work?

Cheers
