Key for BeerSmith question

My phone bricked on me.
I had Beersmith light on it. I paid for a key to let me use it.

When I get my new phone will I have to pay for another key?

I did a full wipe of my Android phone. When I reloaded it, I used my normal email address to load the market and when I searched for it it allowed me to re-install it without paying again because it recognized I'd paid for it already.
