Looking for some advice please.
I had intended to set-up a Keezer a couple years back and bought a brand new Kenmore chest freezer for the DIY project. I played with the small screw on the thermostat, got it set at 38 degrees, and then life happened and I had to stop the project. Anyway, 2 years later I want to use it as a freezer (I bought a kegerator) and now it is not cooling despite sitting unmoved.
When it is plugged in I can hear the compressor turn on, I can hear fluid moving through the walls of the freezer, but alas the freezer stays at room temperature. It has probably only been plugged in for 24 hours since I bought it.
I don't think there is a relay problem since the compressor is on moving the coolant through the system and is putting out heat.
The thermostat is working because if I turn the screw way up, assuming to room temperature, the compressor kicks off.
I don't think the Freon has leaked out because when the compressor is on I can hear gurgling sounds from all four walls the chest freezer.
Any help is appreciated!
