is there a way i can tell it is 304 stainless or aluminum? i have two waiting...

hit it with an abrasive grinding wheel, if there is sparks its stainless. Highly unlikely that it is aluminum. Post a picture

hehe, if you mean magnet, that won't work either. Stainless and aluminum are both not magnetic.
