I finally got a cannonball keg setup (1.75 gallon) a couple months ago, and everything through carbonation has gone well. My beer is more or less ready to serve, except — it won’t come out of the ball lock snap tap I have hooked up to my out post.

I have no idea what’s wrong. Everything is assembled as recommended, but it’s clear nothing happens when I open it. I read in one review that its gasket sometimes doesn’t lead to a good fit, but that’s not the issue here.

I tried to remove the whole set up, in case the problem was in the actual coupling, but when I did so, I got a huge face full of beer. I can’t safely get the tap off. Now seems like I’m stuck here. I appreciate any help you can offer.

Is there a PRV on the keg lid? My guess is to disconnect the gas, pull the prv and then take off the snaptap. Clearly beer will come out and it’s under pressure. I’d look at the faucet itself and see if the tap opens as it should when you pull the handle. Maybe it’s broken?
