I am using corny kegs.
I have heard stories from other about using forced pressure and I want to use priming sugar .. to be safe and keg my beer. How long should I leave it in the keg to make sure it is complete?

Thanks.

I did - 1 week primary 2 week secondary.

Do what makes you happy, but just be aware that there's nothing "unsafe" about force carbonating your beer, if you were worried about that. It's the same pressure you it will be under when you're serving if you do the 'set-and-forget' method.

Be aware that kegs don't always seal properly unless they are under pressure, so you should generally hook the keg up to CO2 and pressurize it once briefly, to make sure it seals, before putting it away to let it carbonate naturally - otherwise if it's not sealed well in the first place it'll continue to leak and won't carbonate.
