Made mead 8 months ago, og 1.071.
Kegged 2 days ago . Just tasted it, way too sweet. It did not finish.

What are my options?
I am considering putting it back in carboy, degassing, and adding yeast. Would rather just try that in the keg, but I've never heard of such thing.
 
Did you do a hydro reading? What yeast did you use? What temp was it kept at?

I've had a couple meads and fruit wines a year old that kick up after racking and ::grumble:: bottling. Depending how high the gravity is, possibly repitch a more aggressive yeast.
