I got a conversion kit for Christmas, and I'm confused by this connector on the end of the beer line.

the kit I have has ball lock disconnects, and this doesn't fit with anything in my kit. What do I do?

The tubing was just the slightest bit too small for the disconnect. It took some serious elbow grease, but I got it on there.

Panel cut out, frame and gasket reattached, door put back on.

I'm bending down the freezer and drilling the hole for the tower tomorrow.

It's a GE spacemaker, model WMR04BAPBB. It's 4.3 cubic feet with a freezer drawer. The freezer is really giving a hard time. It's not screwed into the walls of the fridge, it's set into grooves. Not attached, but set in pretty firmly. I don't want to work it too hard, because I don't want to brick the whole unit. It's been in my parents unheated garage til this morning, so everything's still a little rigid. I'm going to let it sit in the warm basement til the morning and give it another shot.

That connector looks like the end of the line before it attches to the shank. You know, the part of that you screw into the shank with a gasket in between

You have to cut it off and put ball connector on. I had the same question when I got my kit. I called the beverage outlet and they said to cut it off, so I did.

I feel better now knowing I wasn't the only person who faced that same problem. :mug:
