Saw this on CL:
http://louisville.craigslist.org/spo/4426587108.html
Shocked by the low price.. I asked the seller if it was fully functional and he said "depends on what you drink, it's set up to do nitrogen beer."
Not sure what the difference is, but would this thing work just fine as a homebrew kegerator/fermentation chamber? Or would it require lots of upgrading?

Any advice? I was thinking I could attach a STC-1000 and use it as a fermentation chamber AND a kegerator.

its a great deal. I am not sure how you would do the fermentation/kegerator combo but 150 for a nitro setup including the fridge is a great deal. Hop on it if you want to start kegging. You could always easily add a regular faucet along with the nitro.

Well I hate nitro beer. Is any of the equipment other than the actual fridge useful for regular homebrew kegging? I see there's a tank on top of the fridge, would that be able to be used for regular CO2??

You'll need to change the tank and regulator out for CO2 ones, and switch to regular faucets. But there's usually someone looking for a nitro setup that you could do a trade with.

I am actually looking to get a nitro system. Maybe I can buy that off you and use that to get a co2 setup. Will PM you
