How short do I need to make my kegerator beer lines.

I have a kegland series 4 3 tap

What about gas lines, just enough to reach all 3 kegs?

Gas line length is irrelevant... enough length to reach each keg easily like you said.
Liquid lines are much more length sensitive. Longer rather than shorter will be better. You’ll need to know what temperature your keg will be and the serving pressure which will be determined by the carbonation level you choose. A length calculator like this https://www.kegerators.com/beer-line-calculator/
will help you the most. I have found at least 1 foot of 3/16” tubing per psi works best for my setup using Intertap faucets.
