Keg or bottle

I purchased a mini keg kit, with the 5L kegs and 12g CO2 charger. Is it possible to say Keg half of a batch and bottle the rest? If so do I add half the priming sugar after I have the kegs filled? Is it OK to prime the entire batch or will the mini keg blow up?

Add half the priming sugar. Fill the mini-kegs. Add 1/4 of the priming sugar (or 1/2 of what is left) and bottle. This leaves you with an ounce or so of priming sugar. Just start a stash, it doesn't go bad.

I do mini-kegs also...2-3 tsp corn sugar into each keg.

Whatever amount of brew you have left in the bottling bucket...I use 1 oz per gal to prime...
