IIRC, the Firestone/Spartanburg brand kegs are slightly shorter and fatter, which could be where the 9" figure comes from. I seem to remember FS/Spartanburg kegs working better with certain short models of mini fridges.

Just play it safe and get something that would hold the larger diameter ones.. -JMW
