She's ok, but not particularly exciting to me. Her voice is the common auto-tuned sound your used to hearing today. In fact, I find it a bit more annoying for some unknown reason.

I do appreciate her lyrics a bit. Fun and just a touch of naughty. But not enough to make me actually want to listen to her.

There is a fair amount of voice modulation in her songs, but her more acoustic stuff proves that she actually can sing with digital aids.

Yeah, I think she's kinda hot but ultimately boring. And after I heard she was dating (possibly marrying?) Russel Brand I lost all interest. That guy is a ******-nozzle and a half.

I kind of hate that "California Gurls" song. The chorus starts off with a really nice hook, but after three phrases you get that "oh-oh-oh-oh" thing that doesn't fit at all. Sounds like someone wrote three lines but couldn't figure out how to finish the chorus, but thought that if they just put "oh-oh-oh-oh" in instead nobody would notice.

Of course, maybe drunk sorority girls don't actually notice ...
