I have picked up a KAB4 burner, I plan on using it with a keggle so need to mod it. I have seen a few threads on modding this burner, where they have removed the legs and flipped them around so the top bar stuck out further then moved the burner up to 1.5" under the top of the bars.
On my burner I have only 2" from the top of the burner to the top of the bars. Is there a reason to move these up any further? I was thinking of adding angle iron to the top of the bar to extend burners top by 2 inches on each side.
If anyone has a modded KAB4, I would appreciate any input before I set my welder to work modding mine.
