I've been pretty lucky washing my chap stick and some sharpies a few times with the caps never coming off. Many years ago I bleached a regular load of laundry however. Ruined my best clothesies.

Get a big can of aquanet or other aerosol cheap hairspray. Spray the spots heavily and blot with a paper towel. I did the same with new work uniforms.
