Just tried my first batch! I have questions. Please help.

Ok fellow homebrewers I justt had a drink of my first batch of beer after being bottled for 7 days and it was horrible it had a good taste but it was so flat any suggestions??!??

It needs another 2 weeks or so in the bottle

7 days is not enough time. Wait 3 weeks minimum at 70 degrees before trying.

+1 on waiting. Pretty much no way it's ready to drink after 1 week in bottles.

I stored it at about 70 degrees. Thanks for the tips guys I'll just wait longer. I guess I'm just excited to try my first home brewed beer.

I wait at least 3 weeks before opening any beers. I discovered on my first batch that although two weeks was alright, three weeks of conditioning was much better.
