Just tried my first American Amber beer. It Had a very strong Pale ale taste to it. Poured in a glass, it looks a little dark, kind of cloudy. It's been bottled for 8 days. Will the strong pale ale taste back off a bit and will it clear up if I let it sit in the bottle for another week or two?

Yep with some age the hops will dissipate and it will clear. Usually the rule of thumb is 3 weeks minimum @ 70*F

No but for real no matter what I let my beer ferment for at least 3 weeks. Sometimes 4 . Beer will clear. I promise

Thanks dudes! I have a Kolsch beer fermenting right now, on day 8 as well. Should I let ferment for two more weeks and the bottle it for another 3 weeks?
