hey i been playing around with the recipe as had gotten my hands on falconer's flight hops... with what i had at home here is what i brewed today... any have an opinion and/or feedbacks on this?
here is the extract recipe:
1 lb - two row lovibund
4 oz - cara pils/dextrine
steep - 160 degree 20 minutes
4 lbs - pilsner light DME
2 lbs - amber DME
60 min - warrior pellets 1oz
15 min - falconer s flight 1 oz
flame out - falconer s flight 1 oz
yeast - american ale
plan to leave in primary for one week then transfer to secondary for a week - two weeks dry-hopping it with another oz of falconer's flight
would this be considered a pale ale? am open to feedbacks to how this will turn out as i am learning the craft... been brewing for almost a year now. this is my 8th batch and of late i have ventured off trying to come out with my own recipe rather than following the book.
