Julol

Can anyone tell me what Jolol (scandinavian Christmas beer) is supposed to taste like? I brewed one because of my wife's family's Norwegian heritage and it tastes good, but no one's ever tasted one before. It's not life or death to me but I'd like to know how close I got.
PS--- next year I'll star it in August, kinda missed the holiday season.

Personally never ran across it.

The N Scandinavian people eat rotten shark, so I am not sure how much faith I would put in their cuisine, overall. They don't seem to be very picky about what they eat.
