I am a retired Realtor looking for a hobby and winemaking seems like a great idea. I tried my first batch and it looks like a disaster.

Description of First Try at making wine

I don’t have a clue what this should taste like.

I just had enough White Grapes & Pineapple to take a shot.

3 Pounds Pineapple 1 Pound White Grapes

Recipe for 2-gallon mix of White Grape and Pineapple mash

Used Red Star Premier Classique Yeast
OG Hydrometer Reading was 1.092
10 Days fermenting
No Yeast activity after 10 days
SG Hydrometer Reading on day 10 = 1.022
SG Hydrometer Reading on day 11 = 1.022
Refractometer day 11 = 1.060
Vinometer day 11 = 12% ABV
Mash is cloudy with a slight fruity taste.

Should I throw this out and start another batch

Thanks for any input
John

Welcome aboard!
I haven't made wine, so can't give much advice. I can move this thread to the wine section, or you can post there.
I don't use a refractometer, but I think the reading needs adjustment once alcohol is present.
Time often helps beer, probably wine too.
My first few beers weren't great, but they're much better now. Study and practice will improve your results.
Good luck, keep us posted.
