jeffstuffingsjk when will you guys announce what (if any) is left over for Sunday? I am assuming little to none will be, but I will be driving to San Antonio late Saturday night to drop off my wife and kids and heading back to Dallas Sunday, and will gladly be the first person in line sitting in my car for a few hours to get a bottle if there is any available.

If not, oh well, just guess I will have to drink some on site when I stop in.

P.S., My daughter was born this year, I will try to remember to mention that in a visit 5-10 years from now in hopes of being "Jean Roy'd".

Hey, anyone going on Friday have 2 x 375ml of 3F geuze? All I have are 750ml and my secret santa target requested 2 x 375ml, one to drink now and one to age. I'd rather send the two 375s so that I could vary up the box with the oz limit. Obviously I'd trade for it, not looking for a handout.

I've got one 375ml you can have, I'll bring it.

I appreciate it, but I'm ideally looking for two of the same date per his request. I have single 375s, but no matching dates or even with 6 months. What the date on yours?

To anyone reading, I can trade a 750ml that is at least a year older for any dated pair of 375s.

Over/under on the Matt Chow mule haul bottle count?

Many

Aren't you in Houston? Or am I remembering incorrectly. If so, I can hook you up if you still need them.

Ha. That's great. We'll announce bottle counts at the end of each day.

Interesting choice adding this release onto this weekend.

Wicked Weed / Jester King Red Atrial Release this Sunday
31 minutes ago

On Sunday, November 20th at Noon, we’ll be releasing Wicked Weed / Jester King Red Atrial at our tasting room! Red Atrial is a 50/50 blend of Wicked Weed Brewing Red Angel with Jester King Atrial Rubicite. Wicked Weed then took the blend and refermented it with another four pounds per barrel of fresh raspberries.

We have 500 bottles of Red Atrial available (500ml/$26) with a limit of one bottle per customer. We’ll also have bottles of Wicked Weed La Bonté Plum, Marina, Oblivion, Dark Age, Old Fashioned, La Bonte Pear, Amorous, and Silencio for sale to go.

Red Atrial will be available by the glass at our tasting room, and we’ll rotate through several other draft beers from Wicked Weed such as La Bonté Plum, Marina, Oblivion, Parking Lot Grisette, Medora, Montmaretto, Dark Age, Old Fashioned, La Bonte Pear, Myrtle, Brettaberry, Garcon de Ferme, and Silencio.

Finally, we’re excited to have Wicked Weed Founder/Head Blender Walt Dickinson at Jester King on Sunday for the event for the release! Please come out, enjoy all the great Wicked Weed beers, and meet Walt!

Edit: Also surprised this is priced at $26/bottle. really hope the Fruited sours all don't start trending that way.

Walt will be in town Sunday, so we decided to have the release when he'd be at Jester King. Also, I don't want SPON and Red Atrial to overlap. Both beers, especially SPON, deserve their own singular event.

Ya, no issue with it. We just don't typically see 2 big releases in a weekend. Figured there had to be some specific logic behind it.

so...none of these are not the fruited spon releases? those will be next weekend hopefully.

looks like a busy couple of months down in atx with the fruited spon...and the different/new graped releases that were spoken of earlier this year.

Atrial SPONicite.

O jez.

That would be wicked weed pricing. Y'all probably (hopefully) don't have to worry about that happening.
Correct. We matched Wicked Weed pricing. As y'all know, we raised our pricing on 500ml barrel aged fruit refermentations to $20 in 2016. I don't plan on raising prices again anytime soon.

SPON refermented with fruit won't be next week, nor anytime this month. As far as grape refermentations (non-SPON), Biere de Blanc du Bois is getting close to release, as well as a few other ones.

*crosses fingers* I really hope there is a new batch of Bier de Syrah. That was outstanding.

This is the only fruit refermentation I have missed out on. The completionist in me needs this beer (and the empty bottle).

Best one too. Need more of that in my life...

jeffstuffingsjk, any chance one of the SPON batches was bottled on 3/1?

I'm sitting here debating time of departure to minimize traffic, time in line, and time until they open.... Too many calculations. Hoping to get there by 3:30 and get the line waiting done with... Well until I want to try the beer. Both stations will be open today at 4, right?

I'll be in a dark red hoodie and bright green Super Gueuze shirt. Say hi if you'd like, I don't bite.
