I like mwbbq's suggestions: more spots for different perks; 2nd edition of tickets for in person, or allocate a certain amount of tickets for in person sale. As far as the lottery system, I like it for convenience. But if I could drive out to JK and do it in person I'd do it without question.
I do wish that locals and long time supporters had some advantage but that makes me sound entitled. I'm 0/2 with Zwanze lotteries and I'd say stick with it, just make modifications.
I do like the idea of linking a credit card to the entry so there's no backing out. I'm sure that would limit the amount entries and people changing their mind. Hill Farmstead did that with one of their lottery bottle sales but I can't remember the company that was used.
