That connection is male INSIDE the housing. So what you are looking at is a male connect. You would terminate your electrical connection in a Female connection like normal.

Trying to figure out what the computer power cord is for. I've got a brew boss controller. Could I run a L6-30 line direct from the controller to the rims unit?

No not at all. Those elements are designed for about 10 amps. As is the cord.

Thus my question about being able to interface with a brew boss controller via a L6-30 line. It didn't make sense to me to use a computer power cord.
