It seems dangerous to ask people to terminate their electrical connection in a male plug. Am I seeing that correctly?
That connection is male INSIDE the housing. So what you are looking at is a male connect. You would terminate your electrical connection in a Female connection like normal.

Thank you, I guess I was confused by the picture. Which looks like a female plug, and thought it might look like it would be simple to connect to a live male plug on the end of a cord.

I hear ya. Yeah we should probably address that picture.
Thanks for the heads up.

I've been loving my original version of this for a few years now. So simple!

Are the two heating elements actually different now between 12ov and 240v?

Trying to figure out what the computer power cord is for. I've got a brew boss controller. Could I run a L6-30 line direct from the controller to the rims unit?
