This is ****** great.
I wish they still made Y2K in 4x 12oz and annually. This beer is phenomenal at 6+ years.

the poor mans a deal with the devil is tasting wonderful, the cognac really pops
NEED**** i loved this beer so much
This was on shelves forever, I drank several bottles over the course of a few months but I wish I had stocked up on it.**** i loved this beer so much
Hopefully breweries think BABW is the next hype style, brew a **** ton, and no one cares
People are starting to get wise. I was only able to buy 4 four packs of CW and it was mostly gone within a couple weeks. That **** used to sit.Can you imagine yourself saying this in 2013 when you joined TalkBeer?
While I can't stand most trends, and can be a curmudgeonly bastard (see NE IPA), more well made Barrel Aged Barleywine is never a bad thing.
Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Barleywine has been the most amazing hidden gem for years, and if we get more **** like that at an affordable price point I'm all for it.
This post brought to you by New Glarus Staghorn and HomeTown Blonde.
curmudgeonly bastard
I'm going to be forever disappointed that Bourbon County barleywine morphed from a nice blend of barleywine and stout from the barrels to just a plain jane bourbon barleywine.
I get it man. I get it.I've got one lil' ole' 2013 BCBBW left... I need to crack it soon, but I'm having trouble letting go.
I have the same dilemma. I stare at that last bottle all the time because my second to last one was just magical.I've got one lil' ole' 2013 BCBBW left... I need to crack it soon, but I'm having trouble letting go.
