It's going to be a long night...

So I got home from work this evening and decided to go for a ride on my new bike (see here). 12.5 miles later, some frozen toes included I get home an pour some Laurelwood ESB and quickly finish that. I then go for the Apfelwein. SWMBO is doing a trial run on some Corn Beef and Cabbage and she tells me she used Guinness and some Apfelwine in the recipe. Hmmm....Snakebite comes to mind (Cider & Guinness). So I finish half the Apfelwein and pop open a Guinness. Damn it...no seperation...I'm gonna keep going till I get it right...Maybe I should just call in to work now.

I think apfelwein is to dry you use for it but go ahead and try as many as you like.

Taste is great...but three rounds in I still can't get the seperation....

Uh oh...SWMBO just reminded me of rule number 2...he/she who cooks doesn't clean. I can't clean in this state.
