I've brewed a few batches and for some reason the first batch comes out perfect. My second batch seems to have developed a mold. The first mold was blueish in color so needless to say I scrapped that SCOBY. I obtained a second SCOBY, brewed a batch, and it was perfect. I went for a second batch and below is what developed on the top. It looks like there are parts of a new SCOBY that look great mixed in with white mold. I've done a ton of searching and found quite a few pictures that show things I would consider bad but are apparently healthy SCOBYs. I'd like to get some opinions below. I brew at about 75 degrees for 7 - 8 days. Any thoughts?

green and blue are bad, BUT is green tea??

it can be some of the herbs that come out of the brewbag, i think a new scoby is growing.

give another week or so to see what happens.

I do a combo of black and oolong tea. It is a new SCOBY but when I look closely it's a white fuzzy mold. I think I've figured out where it keeps coming from. I make quite a bit of sourdough bread and my starter is right next to the kombucha. I don't have the separation I need. Looks like I've got to make a few changes in my kitchen.
