Is this damaged heating element safe ?

Hi,

I bought this cheap 2000W element on Amazon (25$~30$). The mate

rial is nowhere mentioned, but the element is meant to boil water (for tea/food), so I assumed it would be okay to use for brewing.

Last time I used it, it turned like this. Would you still use it or should I dump it ?

Should you use some unknown metal in your wort? I wouldn't.

I wouldn't use something that looked like that even if I were just heating up plain water...
