I used a yeast cake from an old sour ale that I had made. Typically starter route with some DME, yeast nutrient.
I didn't get any activity for about two weeks. I kind of forgot about it, but noticed what looks like a good sour yeast activity yesterday.
Is this what a sour yeast starter is supposed to look like?
