Is there anything on the web or a book? I have a 4 keg system with 5lb co2, a manifold directing the air and picnic taps. I generally put new beer in at about 20 - 30 psi for a few days then back it down for serving. However, it seems like I usually get a big glass of foam and the beer tastes a little flat. I would love to see some good guidance on balancing the system, how long the hose, best practices for carbing new beer while serving others etc. Thanks.

Take a look at the verry first post in this thread..the sticky one.

Lots of good links to everything u need!!!

balancing your system is a trial by error so to speak..I suggest longer beer lines to begin with. it is much easier to go shorter than longer.(I have about 8 feet on mine it makes for a bit longer pull from the keg but with more control..IMO.)

never shake to forse carb but rather just go with the 7 to 10 days on co2 technique and let it age as it carbs up..

again its what works for me so see what works for you.
