Is my yeast cake infected?

I went to grab one of my containers of stored German Hef yeast from the fridge and noticed a small white spot blended into the top of the yeast cake. It's about 1/8-1/4" in diameter. It's been stored for about a month. Is it an infection? I felt I was being very careful when I transferred it, but who knows. Thanks for any help.
 
it may be mold....I have had a couple of harvests that had a layer of white mold on it when I opened it...Since we all don't have sterile clean rooms, that is the risk we take in playing with yeasties....
