Is my cider ruined

Hello all. I had made 2 gallons of cider using honey crisp cider and ec1116 yeast back in November. One gallon has just brown sugar and tastes great. The other gallon i added brown sugar 2 oranges and some cinnamon. Now it has a tart almost vinegar taste. Did i ruin it?

Time heals all. If its bottled let it just sit on a shelf at room temperature for a month or longer. The longer you wait the more it will mellow out.

I used to make a harsh tasting cider (rocket fuel cider) all the time. I warmed it up in a saucepan and it tasted pretty good warm.
